CHADD CONFERENCE 2008 A HUGE SUCCESS!!
GUEST SPEAKER Dr. RUSSELL A. BARKLEY, Ph.D.
CHADD of Greater Chattanooga would like to thank Dr. Barkley, the internationally recognized authority on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children and adults, for his excellent presentation and Q&A. We also are so grateful to our Professional Advisory Board and our conference sponsors for helping to make our 2008 conference so successful. Most of all, we would like to thank the parents of ADHD children, adults with ADHD, teachers, education system administrators, and health care professionals that came to the conference. We could not do it without the support of each and every one of you.
THANK YOU!!
We will posting some follow-up information from the conference here in the next week or so, so please check back soon.

WOW!! Pamper Earns National Award!!
Our very own Pamper Garner Crangle is one of three CHADD volunteers in the country who will receive the Volunteer Leadership Award at CHADD’s national conference in Anaheim, Calif., in mid-November.
Pamper is the mother of two children with ADHD. In addition to being a civic volunteer and wife, she owns Pamper Garner & Associates, a leadership development company. She has led our CHADD board of directors for seven years, during which the board has organized four conferences. She is a CHADD help line volunteer, upgraded the organization’s lending library, encouraged growth of the parent/teacher and the adult ADHD support groups.
Peer recommendation: “My family, the chapter, professional community, individuals/families affected by ADHD, board members and national CHADD have benefited from Pamper’s leadership through crisis management, long-term program development, raising funds and resources, individual support, training, education and organizational skills. She sees the big picture and all the details.” — Trish White
